Solo Backpacker Narrating Travel Stories
I became an Architect but travelling full-time seemed like my calling. And now the designer within me has been transformed to a nomad, looking for travel stories across the globe.
This solo backpacker craves for a sense of adventure, to see some of the most exotic travel destinations, meet local communities and know about their offbeat stories.

Hi, I am Niharika (The Iffy Explorer), an architect turned to a full-time traveller.
My soul loves to indulge in experiences which involve exploring the untrodden, living like locals and knowing the place and its people best by exploring their habitats.
Since my academic days, I have involved myself in various research projects which made me a travel enthusiast and the exploration bug bit me hard then onwards.
Travel not to feel insignificant and get lost. Travel to see how everyone holds a little significance and to eventually seek what you look for. - The Iffy Explorer
Slow and immersive travel is the pace with which I explore and learn about people and their lifestyles. The Himalayas have been a constant source of inspiration, motivation and a place to add a full stop to fears. They have been a muse to my poetry and my travel photographs.

I absolutely love to explore travel places in my own exotic country, India. I have met Aryans of the Ladakh, Angami warriors of Nagaland, Galo from Arunachal, Kinnauri tribe from Himachal, Bodos from Assam, long-neck Kayan women from Myanmar and so many other interesting people. Offbeat travel keeps feeding my curiosity.
All I am is an explorer, the collector of discarded stories who is in a quest of a discovery.

It’s been a while since we are working with travel bloggers and travel influencers. We invited Niharika on a tour to experience Igloo stay in India and write about it. She is one of the best bloggers in my list not only because of her articles but also because of her work. Her dedication towards the work is inspiring. She knows her job and does it in the best possible way.”
